Marquis Hare is a Freelance Saxophonist + Music Coach who works with people eager to find the inner musician in themselves.
Having performed and/or recorded with many greats, including Kirk Whalum, Tia Fuller, Donald Brown, and many more.
Marquis came to me looking to create a responsive website to further reach his target audience as a musician and as a coach. He was looking for a solid foundation to build his brand on, and a way to create campaigns for inbound marketing from e-mail, search and social channels.
With this design, we used WordPress as the underlying website architecture to support the many different needs. Marquis needed an easy way to showcase his albums for purchase/download, to display an Electronic Press Kit for the media, and a calendar for upcoming gigs. We used professional photography to provide a photo-rich experience and incorporated on-page SEO. In addition, MailChimp was integrated to capture email subscribers and automate a sequence of branded e-mails to his audience.
